Can You Imagine a Sacred Artist Heritage Center?

For Him When artists get together, ideas spark and grow like wild fire.  We are planning a sacred artist association where artists can not only gather, but spark a fire to change the world.

Beginning with an annual artist's conference with workshops and speakers  that instruct new aspiring artists as well as masters to see themselves as illustrators of the Mind of God, and help them create the sacred, prayerful, or traditional expressions always developing their own talents and expression.   For this great work we need your help.

Can you imagine an artist heritage center that envelops all of your senses?

Starting with a beautiful building with architecture that commands you think beyond the mundane and vulgar, then as strains of sacred music emanate from the windows, you ascend the steps surrounded by paintings & sculpture that delight your soul. Light through the stained glass windows bathe even the floors in color. Like the carpenter shop in Nazareth, work noises emerge from the wood and frame shop, then the sculpting, potters,  metalworkers  & even textile art rooms add to the symphony.  Complete this with the theatrical rehearsals on the full stage and you are completely enveloped in the arts.  Where else can you find all the arts together working for God?

This is all possible with the right first spark. And we believe we have found it in the artist Yolanda Bello.  She worked for Mother Theresa of Calcutta, created the secondary mural at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Mass., as well as a mural and several paintings for St. Vianney Church in the Chicago area.

“Yolanda is a Lay Missionary of Charity (LMC), as well as a  Natural Family Planning Creighton Model system instructor (CrMSI), and a Billings Instructor.

Yolanda works with a wide variety of mediums; from murals and reliefs, to sculptures of bronze, fiberglass, plaster or resin. and drawings in monochrome and water color. It is her policy to serve you, the consumer, with artwork to move the heart and inspire the spirit.

Yolanda Bello, whose dolls are critically acclaimed for their realism, their sculptural excellence, and their rich depth of emotion, says that her goal is to design dolls that “achieve purity of expression to uplift the mind and soul.”  Her life long wish to uplift humanity with visual gladness, and continues to seek to spread such intentions with other artists of like mind, to counteract the darkness that is descending on humanity.

Could providing the resources for this project change the community and city too? Can it offer local jobs and training? Can it provide space for current artists?Yes!

Recently,  a young artist spoke of how she  understands her God given artistic talent should be used to honor Him, how she would like to devote all of her time to creating works of art.  However, she is now painting houses.  Another local artist with a Bachelors in Fine Arts cannot even try to use her artistic talent because there is no space in her home to work.   How many others are there out there who would honor God and beautify the world if the resources were made available?

Art can change the world and inspire prayer, but who will create it and where? With your gifts, YOU can help provide the space and the spark.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.
